Pewithall School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level Three Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational community in Key Stage Two. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a strong commitment to our core values of Partnership, Excellence, Wellbeing, Individuality, Thoughtfulness, Happiness, Leadership, Learning, and Laughter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning of pupils in Key Stage One & Two, ensuring a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
- Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding pupils and maintaining the family ethos of Pewithall School.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging learning activities that align with our vision for the curriculum.
- Show flexibility to work across all three phases: Reception, Key Stage One, and Key Stage Two as needed.
- Foster an atmosphere of positive behaviour and encourage pupils to embrace their individuality.
Person Specification:
• Proven experience as a Level Three Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also demonstrating initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate pupils.
