Teaching Assistant Pay Band D / SCP 5-6

£24,790 - £25,183 Plus SEN of £1,491 pro rata per annum

(Actual Salary: £18,275 - £18,564 plus £1,099 Actual SEN per annum)

30 hours per week / 46 weeks per year

The Governing Body of St Michael & All Angels Catholic Primary invites applications from suitably qualified, inspirational teaching assistants to join our school to work under the supervision of the DHT/SENCO.

Candidates must have high expectations for work and behaviour and be able to work in a team which will plan and deliver an inclusive curriculum.

The successful candidates will be supportive of the strong Catholic ethos of the school and be prepared to take a full and active role in all aspects of school life. To comply with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 all prospective employees will be required to supply evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.

The post is subject to all the relevant pre employment checks set out in the Keeping Children Safe in Education Statutory Guidance 2022 an enhanced DBS certificate with a barred list check.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
