The successful candidates will be caring, patient, supportive and demonstrate a passion for promoting our children’s well-being and independence. We are looking for team players with a good sense of humour to join our friendly school.

This role mainly requires regular 1:1 work with a child with SEN, currently in KS1, but may also require working with small groups of children with SEN and as a class TA as directed and based on the needs of the children and the school. If you are passionate about supporting children both academically and emotionally, we would love to hear from you.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Teaching Assistant will be a member of a multidisciplinary team, under the leadership and supervision of the teacher/senior staff; will work with individuals/groups to supervise physical/general care of pupils, including those with SEN; enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive culture. We particularly encourage applications from candidates from backgrounds currently underrepresented in our staff body.

How to apply Applicants should complete the trust’s application form and submit it to HRPrimaries@iniciotrust.org by 9am on Monday 29 June 2026.
