Part Time - Permanent Position
29 hours 30 mins per week Monday and Tuesday 8:40am-2:55pm
Wednesday 8:40am-3:10pm
Thursday and Friday 8:20am-2:50pm
(with a 30mins unpaid break daily)
39 weeks per year

Salary: NJC Scale 1 p.2 (FTE £28,221)

Actual pro-rata salary: £20,160 per year

(salary is paid in equal amounts over twelve months)

Fridays only 8:30am-3:00pm

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and inspirational colleagues to join our dedicated team of support staff, working as a Teaching Assistant in our Speech and Language Provision within our Additionally Resourced Provision. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head Of Additionally Resourced Provision and be able to show initiative, provide intervention, promote independent learning and work successfully as part of a team. Being able to promote positive relationships with pupils and parents/carers alike will be essential. Relevant qualifications and experience of working with language disordered pupils as well as Makaton singing skills are desirable but not essential, as training will be given.
