Teaching Assistant - TA2 (AM only)

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

The role:

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and other staff to support pupils' learning and development, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Working with individuals and small groups of pupils to reinforce learning and develop confidence.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and learning activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to develop independence.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate.
• Contributing to the safeguarding, welfare and inclusion of all pupils.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, as required for the post.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Demonstrate patience, flexibility and a positive approach.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Have high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion.
• Experience of working in a primary school setting would be an advantage.
