Post: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 3) – Permanent

Term time only – 36 hours per week

Grade: Grade E (SCP 18 – 21) JE No. A2112

We are looking to appoint a talented, conscientious, positive team player to join our friendly and supportive team, to care about our pupils and our school community as much as we do.

The successful applicant will join us at an exciting time, as we develop our outdoor curriculum and SEND provision to meet the needs of all of our children so they may grow and flourish.

The successful candidate will work flexibly as part of the Early Years Team and with Senior Leaders to contribute to the organisation’s vision, in a nurturing environment where our Christian values guide everything we do. Staff know our pupils extremely well, take good care of them and keep them safe and pupils feel valued and included.

Ours is a constantly evolving school where children and staff are challenged and supported to develop to their full potential. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is keen to develop their skills.

Job Description:

We are looking for candidates who are/have:

  • Committed to supporting our Christian ethos
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to raising standards further
  • High expectations of themselves and pupils
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent skills in English and Maths
  • Experience of working with/supporting pupils with additional needs including medical, behavioural or language/communication needs
  • Experience of working in EYFS setting
  • Willingness to administer medicines and support medical procedures when necessary, further training will be provided.
  • Able to offer talents which will contribute to our vibrant and welcoming school
  • Prepared to be actively involved in all aspects of school life.
  • Prepared to attend training after school, overtime payments will be made.
