Crosby High School is a 175-place school for pupils aged 11–16 with moderate to complex learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and suitably qualified Level 3 Science Teaching Assistant to join our highly effective team from November 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in science who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The ideal candidate will:

• Be committed to working with children with SEND needs.

• Have a strong interest in Science and ideally experience of supporting science lessons.

• Be dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding, and achievement of every child.

• Be organised, flexible, and able to support teaching and learning across the school.

• Work effectively as part of a team to promote exciting and creative learning opportunities.

• Inspire, challenge, and motivate students while leading by example.

• Show creativity, innovation, and a passion for continuous school improvement.

• Have an understanding of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.

• Contribute to recording, analysing, and tracking pupil progress.

• Salary: Grade E
