We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and/or Level 3) to join our school to support in the mainstream school or our well- established Resourced Provision. This is an exciting time to join our school as we move forward under the leadership of our newly appointed Executive Headteacher, Kate Ball, who brings energy and a renewed vision for the future.

Sandbrook Primary is a small, vibrant and ambitious school with a warm, community-centred ethos. Our Resourced Provision is an integral part of the school and is well known for delivering high-quality, individualised support for children with a range of additional needs.

We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible and committed individuals who are eager to play a key role in the continuing development of our school and inclusive provision.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a school setting
  • Can confidently lead or support intervention sessions
  • Understand the importance of inclusive practice within the classroom and wider school
  • Work constructively and collaboratively as part of a team, showing initiative and professionalism
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Are warm, caring and empathetic with a good sense of humour and team spirit

In return, we offer:

  • The chance to work with an incredibly motivated and dedicated team of staff, pupils and families
  • A welcoming and supportive environment where staff wellbeing is valued
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • A leadership team committed to high standards, inclusion and continuous improvement

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. Please contact the school office at schooloffice@sandbrook.wirral.sch.uk to arrange a suitable time.

Sandbrook Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment procedures, including satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. We promote equality of opportunity and celebrate diversity within our community.

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, as part of our pre-employment due diligence, we will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates.
