We are recruiting a Team Leader Early Intervention at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed term until 31st March 2027
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

Team: Early Years Service

The Early Years and Childcare Service are looking for a dedicated, kind, confident leader to guide a team that puts children and families at the heart of everything we do.

In this role, you will lead a talented frontline team delivering high quality, evidence based interventions for families with a range of needs. You will create a supportive, reflective environment where staff feel valued and equipped to do their best work.

The successful candidate will shape and develop the Caerphilly Early Years Model for children aged 0–7, supporting parents to help their child’s development, nurture family resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A level 5 qualification in the relevant area
  • Strong experience working with families facing varied and sometimes complex needs.
  • A reflective, outcome-focused mindset, with the ability to balance pressures and lead with compassion.
  • Confident, communication skills and the ability to build positive, productive relationships.
  • Experience in leading, mentoring or supervising staff.
