We are recruiting a Team Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 hours per week, working a 3 week rota pattern which includes working 1 weekend.
Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
Location: Min y Mynydd Residential Home

We are looking for the right people who can inspire others and thinks creatively. A person who can lead and motivate the team who is accountable for all operational aspects of the Home.

The postholder will manage a team of residential social care staff in accordance with legislation, regulations and the Council’s policies and procedures.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Mandatory qualifications set by Social Care Wales to register as an Adult Care Home Manager.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance. For example Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, Health and Safety legislation.
  • Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough.
