An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, compassionate, and motivated Team Manager to join Devon County Council's West Locality Community Health and Social Care Teams.

About Us

The West Locality team is comprised of colleagues from a range of professional backgrounds, including Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and non-professionally registered staff.

• Adults of working age with physical and/or learning disabilities, including transition to adulthood
• Older adults with physical disabilities and/or mental health needs, including dementia
• Unpaid carers

We are a skilled and well-established team of practitioners who embrace strengths-based practice and work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support. Our practitioners are highly committed, proactive and passionate about championing individuals' rights, promoting independence and enabling people to live fulfilling lives.

We have strong and positive partnerships with our Health colleagues and are committed to creating an environment where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to develop their professional skills and careers.

Our offices are based close to Dartmoor, including in the heart of the vibrant stannary town of Tavistock, known for its independent shops and lively market, as well as idyllic Yealmpton. Lunch breaks can be spent walking alongside the Rivers Tavy or Yealm or enjoying a coffee in one of the many popular local cafés nearby.
