Contract Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, Full-Time, 35 hours

Salary: Starting salary £55,270 per annum (London weighted salary) or £48,000 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 10

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Closing Date: 22nd February 2026

  • This role empowers you to lead impactful, medium-to-large technology projects that directly support L&Q’s mission to improve lives through high-quality housing.
  • You’ll lead technology projects, navigating technical architectures, security considerations and cross-team dependencies to deliver outcomes that matter.
  • L&Q is undergoing significant transformation, and delivering quality, resilient technology solutions is critical to helping our people provide safe, secure, high quality homes.
  • The role reports to a Senior Technical Project Manager in our Technical Project and Portfolio Team.

Your impact in the role:

  • Lead and manage key technology projects from initiation to completion.
  • Translate complex technical subjects into clear, actionable plans.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive successful delivery.
  • Ensure risks, dependencies and mitigations are proactively managed to support the organisation in meeting its strategic and departmental targets.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong project and stakeholder management experience with the ability to be able to hit the ground running.
  • Proven history of managing technical projects utilising a hybrid/agile framework.
  • Strong experience working on medium to large technology projects preferably with knowledge of security concepts that would need to be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend technical subjects and systems architecture with the ability to document/translate the basic meaning behind these subjects.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Procurement experience preferred but not essential.
  • Project Management certification preferred.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio are preferred.
