
Technical Project Officer
We are recruiting a Technical Project Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ty Penallta
Team: Housing Development and Strategy Team
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of £31,537 - £34,434 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The Development & Strategy team are looking for an experienced project officer to support the delivery of 1000 new, affordable, low carbon homes by 2033.
If you work best within a busy team, have project experience and can collaborative with others; can interpret complex drawings and plans and are passionate about delivering great public services, we'd love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will provide information and assist in the collation and development of reports for Elected Members, Senior Management Team, Executive Leadership Team or external stakeholders.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Experience of Interacting and liaising with people from multiple organisations and at various levels.
- A Full UK Category B driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough and beyond to attend meetings with consultants / developers and visit sites.
