Technical Support Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated talented individual to fill the role of Technical Support Officer within our dynamic Business Support Team. The Business Support Team is the engine room that supports the entire Planning Service. The team validates and registers all planning applications, processes Planning Appeals, plays a key role in the administration and monitoring of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and is responsible for leading our programme of process review, system updates as well as driving and monitoring our overall service performance.
You could be starting out in your career or have established skills in providing the support within a Planning or other local authority department. Experience of validating and registering planning applications would be an advantage, but don’t worry if you don’t have any experience as we provide a full training package.

Salary range
- £30,032 - £37,841 per year
