Temporary Accommodation Officer

What You’ll Do

As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you’ll play a vital role in:

  • Delivering high-quality housing management services to those in temporary accommodation.
  • Ensuring safety and compliance across temporary accommodation sites.
  • Supporting residents to become tenancy-ready and move towards a secure home.
  • Collaborating with housing colleagues, contractors, and external agencies.
  • Monitoring repairs, cleanliness, and fire safety standards.
  • Engaging residents in shaping future housing services.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in housing, social work, or community care.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and the needs of vulnerable groups.
  • A proactive, customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • A full driving licence.

Salary range
