The Governors of Thatto Heath Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an exceptional, enthusiastic and highly motivated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026.

Thatto Heath Community Primary School is a large, successful three-form entry primary school serving the community of Thatto Heath in St Helens. We provide education for over 630 pupils from Nursery through to Year 6 and are proud of our inclusive ethos, strong community links and commitment to ensuring every child succeeds.

The Successful Candidate Will:

. Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising standards.
•Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 1.
•Demonstrate consistently high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
•Have a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements.
•Be passionate about ensuring all children, regardless of need or background, achieve success.
•Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Be committed to working closely with parents, carers and external agencies.
•Be enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to the wider life of the school.
•Support and promote the school's HEART values.
