TRANSFORMATION OFFICER

Are you passionate about driving change and improving services in the public sector? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability, innovation and collaboration are key?

As a Transformation Officer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Wyre Council’s ambitious Transformation Programme and support with preparatory work for potential Local Government Reorganisation. You’ll provide expert project management advice and support, helping us achieve the goals set out in our Council Plan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking council that embraces change. You will be working as part of a small high-profile team on key projects that shape the future of local government.

The role involves:

  • Leading and supporting service and transformation reviews.
  • Coordinating our Project Management Framework and delivering training.
  • Mapping and analysing processes, challenge current practices, and recommending improvements.
  • Preparing reports for senior leadership and the Transformation Board.
  • Fostering innovation by sharing best practice and encouraging creative thinking.
  • Building strong relationships across the council to enable collaborative problem-solving.
