    (RP0100)

    Starting salary £38,350pa with potential progression to £41,254pa on achieving designated skills and experience.

    37 hours per week (hybrid)

    We are looking for an exceptional person to join our Transformation Team to support the delivery of our Transformation Strategy.

    This role combines the responsibilities of managing improvement projects with the analytical skills of a business analyst.This will includeidentifying, analysing, and recommending business improvements, as well assupportingthe management and delivery of these changes.

    It is a time of momentous change in local government and there will be many diverse projects to develop and deliver, including transition to a new local authority as part of Local Government Reorganisation. A new transformation strategy is being developed and will include continuous improvements to how we serve our customers, as well as support for service projects across the council, such as in housing and environment.

    This is a good opportunity to work in a corporate team while getting involved in a wide range of change projects throughout the council, enabling you to learn much about how local authorities work and how they are changing to meet the challenges ahead.

    We are looking fora detail-oriented professionalwho enjoys collaborating with people at all levels in teams across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to everything they do. They should be able to work well with a variety of people and have strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with a wide range of audiences.

    The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.

    The role is hybrid - we are looking for somebody to work in our primary office in Welwyn Garden City at least two days per week.
