About the Role

As a Transport Development Associate for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority you will have the opportunity to support a range of exciting and high-profile projects across Transport. The post holder will support the Pipeline Development Manager with the review and the development of our future transport schemes, with a requirement to lead on some project work. Our aspiration is to develop our emerging pipeline of transport projects for suitable future capital funding. The post holder will work with modal leads and Local Authorities in preparing and developing business cases and supporting material to help support projects into delivery.
This role sits in the Transport Development team within the Place Directorate, which has responsibility of investing in transport projects that are deliverable, affordable and value for money. Projects will include active travel, rail, bus and place-based interventions.
About the person
The successful candidate will be able to see the opportunities to add value and maximise the links between all transport modes as well as being delivery focused. They will be confident working with partners both internal and external and have strong communication skills and the ability to lead on some projects.
Team members should be self-starting, collaborative and ambitious, offer fresh ideas, and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based investment, and a determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.

Salary range
- £48,980 - £53,031 per year
