If so, this is your chance to help shape a transport network that strengthens communities across the Liverpool City Region.
As TravelSafe Partnership Prevention and Engagement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in making public transport not only safe and accessible, but a space where everyone feels respected and supported. This is a high-profile, rewarding role where your work and influence will go beyond transport—it will help build confidence, reduce isolation, and create opportunities for people to feel connected. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the TravelSafe Partnership’s education and community engagement programme, using data-driven insights to shape effective strategies and initiatives to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour across the transport network.
You’ll represent the partnership at events and stakeholder meetings, collaborate with schools, and build strong relationships with transport operators and underrepresented communities—using your expertise to deliver solutions that drive positive change that make a lasting difference.
About the Person
You are someone who brings energy, passion, and a genuine commitment to making public transport safer and more welcoming for everyone. You’ll be driven by the belief that transport is more than just getting from A to B—it’s about creating inclusive spaces where people feel secure and respected and never left behind.
You’ll thrive on engaging with communities, listening to their concerns, and turning those insights into meaningful action. Your enthusiasm will shine, whether you’re working with schools, local community groups, or strategic partners. You will bring creativity and energy to problem-solving and community engagement, always looking for new opportunities to educate, engage, and innovate.
Above all, you enjoy collaboration and are driven to make public transport more inclusive and safer for everyone across the Liverpool City Region
