Britannia Education Trust is a two-school academy trust in east London. We are looking for a Business Manager to work across the trust, starting as soon as possible.
The Business Manager is part of the senior leadership team and holds a key post of responsibility within the school. Working closely with the CEO/Executive Headteacher and the CFO, the Business Manager will be responsible for all operational aspects of the schools including HR, premises, compliance and managing the administration and site teams.
This role is open to experienced school business managers or to those working in an operations management role (preferably in a school/college/public service setting) who would like to become a trust business manager. The Trust will support the undertaking of the relevant SBM qualification and will also provide training for specific systems, such as Bromcom, Planergy, IRIS and using Google Chrome.
We are looking for someone with a positive and proactive approach to their work, who is bright and enthusiastic with an outgoing disposition. Professionalism at all times and an ability to work well with the team, but to also work efficiently without direction are prerequisites for this position.
