Unqualified Teacher (UQT) – PE Teacher/Sports Coach

Start date: As soon as possible

We are delighted to offer an exceptional candidate the opportunity to join our team at an ‘Outstanding’ primary school, which has been awarded Platinum status for the School Games Mark in recognition of our commitment to high-quality sport and physical activity.

The successful candidate will work alongside our PE Specialist to ensure that all pupils have the opportunity to access 60 minutes of daily sport and physical activity, as well as supporting teaching and learning across the wider curriculum and delivering targeted interventions where required.

This is a varied and exciting role which will involve working across both our mainstream provision (EYFS – KS2) and our specialist unit provision. The role will also include coaching school teams through after-school clubs and inter-school competitions, helping to further develop pupils’ enthusiasm, confidence and participation in sport.

This role would suit a candidate who is passionate about inspiring children to lead healthy and active lifestyles, and who is committed to ensuring that all pupils are able to access and engage in high-quality sporting opportunities.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work collaboratively as part of a strong and supportive team.

Salary will be paid in line with the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale (UQT)
