Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time - 35 hours

Salary: : £55,270 per annum to £61,018 per annum (London weighted salary) dependant on experience

Grade: 10

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Working Location: London

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Working Pattern: 09:00 – 17:00

Closing Date:14th October 2025 - 23:00

Join our Maintenance Voids Team at L&Q:

An opportunity has arisen within the void’s team. The role is being recruited on a temporary basis and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has a sound knowledge of void management.

Your impact in the role:

This is a role that impacts both residents and internal teams and will have direct influence over increasing satisfaction and achieving strategic goals within the service.

The Void Manager will look after one of the L&Q regions in SE London. They will manage a team of void supervisors who pre and post inspect voids. They will contract manage and deliver a best-in-class void service that manages within budget and provides voids on time to our letting and rehousing service.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent service and sound financial decision-making. Your experience of managing people, delivering void service and financial results will therefore be essential.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of leading, supervising and motivating a team of void supervisors
  • Experience of contract management.
  • Knowledge of SORs and building knowledge.
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service and resident satisfaction against KPIs
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining good Health and Safety, including working at heights, manual handling, asbestos and day to day Health and Safety Compliance
  • Demonstrable financial acumen & commercial awareness
  • Ability to build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a pressured environment.
