We currently have an opportunity for a Waking Night Project Worker at our new scheme, Bridgewell, in Bracknell. Bridgewell is a warm and welcoming supported living service where we support adults with learning disabilities and social care needs.
Key responsibilities as a Waking Night Project Worker:
- Supporting vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Communicating effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Promoting independence and respecting the wishes of the people we support.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly whilst ensuring the safety of the property
- Offering emotional support as needed
- Responding to and documenting any crisis events that may occur during the night
- Administering medication if required and completing household tasks
- Providing personal care support during the night when required, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and well-being are upheld
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different needs.
- A team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
- A commitment to delivering excellent care and support.
- An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential-we provide full training.
We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
