Positions : Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Permanent from 1st January 2027)

Salary: £24,951 (Pro Rata, Term Time Only)

Willow Wood Community Primary School is a happy, caring school where every child matters and everyone is supported to aspire, believe, challenge and achieve. We are currently looking to appoint a higher level teaching assistant to support teaching and learning across KS2.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning in classes
• Delivering and tracking interventions across the school to raise attainment and rates of progress
• Acting as cover for classes as required
• Supporting school in our determination to increase rates of attendance and reduce instances of lateness;
• Cover our breakfast club provision.

We are therefore looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with children of all ages but predominantly Key Stage 2.
• Has knowledge of the curriculum at each key stage.
• Is enthusiastic, flexible and resilient.
• Has a determination to enhance the outcomes for our children.
• Has an excellent standard of English and Maths.
• Will ensure our children reach their full potential.
• Has the highest expectations of pupil behaviour.
• Has experience of delivering and tracking a range of interventions.
• Is willing to undertake relevant training.
