We have an exciting opportunity for a Works Planning Supervisor to manage and organise the works planning team to ensure the delivery of a high quality, customer-orientated housing maintenance service to our customers.

The Works Planning Supervisor manages the Works Planners and Customer Advisors, collaborates with Responsive Repairs Supervisors, Inspectors, and Stores Supervisor to meet performance and budget targets, and ensures responsive, planned, and empty homes works are efficiently executed with right first-time repairs.

You will have a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Ensure repairs and calls data is accurate and up to date and maintained in preparation of performance statistics, schedules of work and other output.
  • Take responsibility for resolving customer enquiries or completing actions arising from customer enquiries and complaints.
  • To work with Stores to assure all materials are ready for repairs that are scheduled in and to ensure all repairs are planned in to tie in with material delivery.
  • To act as an advocate for customers to ensure issues are addressed and responded to

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working in a works planning function, providing advice and guidance to customers
  • Take a customer focused approach
  • Understand repairs, trades, and associated skills
  • Be able to adapt communications to a range of audiences
  • Be able to use tact and diplomacy to secure effective outcomes, maintaining professionalism in all situations
