• Gateway & MASH (Front Door and Safeguarding)
• Transitions
• Older Adults Mental Health
• Complex Discharge

Role Overview

As a Senior Social Worker, you will:

• Supervise Social Workers and Case Management Officers
• Handle complex cases, including MCA Assessments, Court of Protection applications, and s42 safeguarding enquiries
• Support positive risk-taking and least restrictive interventions
• Collaborate with service providers and stakeholders
• Conduct strength-based assessments and reviews
• Make person-centred decisions
• Manage resources within budget

Location

The job is primarily based on Lewisham Sites including the hospital but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

• Relevant Social Work qualification is needed
• Qualified and Registered Social Worker  
• The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary

£48,618 - £50,646 per annum (SSW).

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
