Our vision for young people is clear. We want young people to succeed, and by working for us you’ll be key to enable this to happen.</p><p>We work with vulnerable young people to address emerging needs, improve life chances, and reduce escalation to more expensive and intensive services. This includes supporting those challenged in education, their community or home life, to ensure a successful transition to adulthood. The young people we work with are typically 11-17 and 18 to 25 if they are Care Leavers or have SEND.</p><p><strong>Employment and Training Advisers </strong><br><strong>£30,559 progressing to £33,366 per annum (pro rata for part time)</strong><br><br>5 x 37 hour a week across Hertfordshire working in an allocated area team<br>1 x 18.5 hours a week in Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere</p><h4>About the role</h4><p>What’s involved in the role?</p><ul>\n<li>Employment, training, and work-related learning activities support to young people.</li>\n<li>Job and work experience brokering.</li>\n<li>Support young people to enhance their employability skills.</li>\n<li>Undertake health and safety assessments within workplaces.</li>\n<li>Work face to face delivering at young people’s centres providing a range of support.</li>\n</ul><p>This is a varied role working as part of a team and will include direct contact with local employers to source a range of work-related opportunities for clients and after appropriate training, carry out Health & Safety checks with employers to support work experience placements.</p><p>You will work with  young people who are not in employment, education or training providing employment and training opportunities through job brokering and marketing vacancies.
