About the Role:
Are you passionate about digital transformation and eager to make a difference in public service? Woking Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and organised Project Support Officer to join our Transformation and Digital Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful digital change programmes that align with our strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll be expected to be an all-rounder, capable of providing administrative support to the Digital Programme Manager and the wider Digital Services team. From organising and participating in meetings and workshops, coordinating diaries, and assisting with any follow up actions, you’ll also be required to assist with contract management, including raising purchase orders, goods receipting, checking invoices for accuracy, and passing invoices for payment to our colleagues in the Finance Team.
What We’re Looking For:
We need you to be computer literate and able to work on a variety of activities at any one time. Accuracy and attention to detail will be second nature to you, as will your ability to produce work to a high standard. Most importantly, though, we expect you to be a team player, willing and able to adapt swiftly to new challenges, and enthusiastic about collaborating with diverse teams.
