About the role

The team of 5 Enforcement Officers is otherwise fully staffed with experienced permanent team members.
About you
At Principal level, you would be expected to have significant practical planning enforcement experience and knowledge. For a Senior role you would be expected to have demonstrable experience in planning enforcement and be ready to take on a caseload of more complex cases.
For an Enforcement Officer level role we are interested to hear from applicants with a range of relevant experience. Experience of Planning Enforcement is desirable, however we are also very interested in hearing from candidates with suitable transferable skills and a desire to develop a career in planning enforcement.
Most of all, we are seeking a confident, self-motivated and diplomatic person with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to deliver positive outcomes for the future of the Borough. You should be able to provide clear and accurate advice to stakeholders and show excellent customer care, verbal and written skills.
