The Smokefree Team are responsible for reducing smoking prevalence within North Somerset by supporting smokers to stop smoking as well as training and supporting other providers to support their service users and/or patients to stop smoking as well as raising awareness around the harms associated with smoking, promoting the benefits of stopping and providing advice and guidance on the best ways to stop.</p><p>In this role, you will; Carry out a range of activities within existing procedures and routines, to support day-to-day running of the Smokefree North Somerset service. The post-holder will resolve routine technical and process problems and queries, ensuring more technical queries are cascaded to the appropriate person..</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Answer the telephone for incoming enquiries, service users, prospective service users and dealing with some queries using own judgement and directing other queries to the appropriate colleague.</p><p>Assisting the manager and business intelligence colleagues with data cleansing duties and monitoring record keeping on case management system.</p><p>Monitor the Smokefree inbox, ensuring emailed queries are directed to the relevant colleague and ensuring referrals are put into the case management system’s referral repository.</p><p>Assist the lead trainer with training related admin including venue bookings, printing of resources and acting as a contact for delegates booking on to training.</p><p>Monitor stock levels and order new stock for items including CO monitors, Nicotine Replacement therapy and vape kits etc.</p><p>Take minutes at meetings ensuring minutes are typed up and cascaded to the team along with actions.</p><p><strong>This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>This position will be based at Weston-super-Mare or within North Somerset.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Work Style</strong></p><p>At North Somerset Council, we offer a hybrid working environment based on four distinct work styles. The Role
