Blacon High School – More than a school

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed Teacher of History to join our successful and established Humanities Department. Applicants will have the ability to achieve positive outcomes for all students, supporting them to develop their skills and understanding through an enquiry-based approach to learning. 

We are a popular school having moved into a new state of the art building in 2016, with a new extension which opened in September 2021 to accommodate growing numbers of students.

Experience of achieving successful outcomes at KS4 is a priority for the candidate, although ECT’s will be considered for the post.
