At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We believe that our children are at the centre of all we do, encouraging and supporting them to be the best that they can be. We treat the children as individuals and understand that their needs are unique to them.

We are extremely proud of our school and the broad curriculum we offer. There is a studio hall for the teaching of music with specially laid flooring for acoustics. We also have a bespoke music curriculum written by our current music specialist which meets needs all of curriculum requirements.

We are partners with the Mawney School as the Learning and Achieving Federation through which we are exchanging good practice and resources to continue our journeys forward.

Our Ofsted Report in July 2023 stated:

‘Pupils at this school are kind, polite and hard-working. In lessons they listen to their teachers and to each other.' ‘Pupils with SEND are quickly identified and are very well supported to study the same broad curriculum as their classmates. Crownfield Junior School has a long history of promoting music by the employment of a music teacher/specialist and we are looking for the right person to join our happy, supportive team and continue the high standards of music teaching and extracurricular opportunities our children receive.  This would include singing assemblies’ choirs, bands, drama, music concerts, trips and school productions.
