The Apprenticeship Journey
If you prefer to learn by ‘doing,’ then an apprenticeship may be the right thing for you. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to develop your skills and experience combining practical on-the-job training alongside studying and obtaining recognised work-related qualifications. The great thing is you can do an apprenticeship at any point in your career and one of the many benefits is, you will get paid while you complete the qualification!
If you would like to make a difference, have an active interest in leisure are reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn then we will train you to support key roles including lifeguard, fitness instructor, swimming instructor and sports coach, whilst supporting you to gain your national pool lifeguard qualification.

Join us at our Open Day...
At Go Active, we think recruitment decisions should be two way which is why we are inviting you to book onto one of our open days sessions, for an informal 1 hour meet and greet with the team.
Bookings will be taking place at our Newton le Willows Site on 26th or 27th June between 10am-7pm
We aim to foster an inclusive experience to allow you to demonstrate how you meet the criteria for our roles, but what’s matters is that you would like to make a difference and demonstrate commitment to our values.
We hope that visiting us on site will help you to experience what it would be like to work at Go Active, to save you time and help inform you, whilst sharing behind the scenes information to help you decide. Chat to staff and take a tour. Learn about our apprentice posts, and find about the training and career development on offer!
