The role
Learning Disability Worker
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing quality services to adults with learning disabilities to join our team at our registered care home in Ryde, Isle of Wight.
This is a full time, permanent role working on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-ins).
As a Learning Disability Worker, you'll have a hands-on approach to caring for our residents, working as part of a team to support people to maintain independence and have better opportunities to get involved within the local community. This is a truly rewarding role where you'll play many parts within our residents' lives.

- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Empathy, compassion and patience
- Good written communication and numeracy skills
- Basic IT skills
- Able to work both as part of a team and also unsupervised
