We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive individual to join us as a Data Administrator (Exams and Attendance) at Kingswood Academy in Hull - a school with high aspirations, a strong sense of purpose and a thriving, ambitious team. This dual-focused role combines the vital responsibility of managing the school's public and internal examination processes with the oversight and administration of statutory attendance data.
This is a key opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills and a clear understanding of the importance of compliance, precision and timely data in supporting pupil achievement.
About the role
In this varied and rewarding position, you will:
- Manage all examination entries and amendments in line with awarding body requirements and deadlines
- Prepare and distribute student exam timetables, forecast grades and coursework information
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of internal and public examination sessions, and seating plans
- Oversee secure handling and dispatch of exam scripts and resultsnister all elements of post-results services, including appeals, special considerations and analysis support
Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the management of statutory attendance data. This includes:
- Using attendance data to identify patterns of persistent absence
- Producing formal correspondence, penalty notices and case files for legal intervention where necessary
- Supporting the school's pastoral and safeguarding teams with timely and accurate attendance insight to inform interventions
- Liaising with families and external agencies to promote and improve pupil attendance
- In addition to the above, you should also be flexible to support within the school reprographics department to support peak work flow periods.
- You will act as the key point of contact for all attendance-related administration, ensuring that legal processes are followed rigorously and that all documentation is compliant and audit-ready.
