The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Housing service area. You will lead and facilitate the Temporary Accommodation Project group influencing current and future decisions regarding the provision of Temporary Accommodation within the borough.
You will work closely with colleagues within Safe Homes, Asset Management, Housing Operations, Finance and Procurement to improve the service offer to current and future residents living within our Temporary Accommodation. You will also play an integral role in forecasting the need for different types of accommodation to meet a wide range of different needs, while playing a key role in the procurement of relevant contracts related to the service.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and you will need to develop them further to manage a cross council project with defined aims and objectives.
