Hours : Full-time, 9:00am – 5:00pm, (36 hours), 46 weeks per year.
Scale : 5/6 depending on experience
Sandringham Primary is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our vibrant administrative team. This is a key appointment, supporting both the school’s core finance functions and our wraparound services including Sandringham Daycare and the Breakfast Club.
The role requires someone who is confident with school finance systems (Bromcom), understands the importance of accuracy, and brings integrity and accountability to everything they do. This person will work closely with the School Business Leader and Admin team, helping ensure our financial processes are compliant and efficient.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Is proficient in financial systems, ideally Bromcom
- Brings high personal standards and a proactive approach to their work
- Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
- Understands or is willing to learn the statutory financial responsibilities of a school setting

Relevant Financial Qualification (or equivalent professional experience)

Impressive personal presence and presentation with high degrees of self-confidence, personal energy and dynamism
Personal warmth to engage positively and gain confidence with the school community.
Sound judgement and the ability to take difficult decisions to resolve issues, especially when under pressure
Ability to communicate concisely and sensitively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences
Commitment to the use of current and emerging technologies to enhance the educational offering and administration of the school
A passion for excellence and a commitment to the ongoing development and implementation of the School’s vision
Degree in accounting or finance. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, google drive, Bromcom
