This is an exciting opportunity to come and work in Brighton and Hove Council's DA & VAWG Unit and coordinate the Brighton and Hove MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) which aims to reduce the risk from domestic abuse (DA) for those deemed at high risk of DA.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to come and work in Brighton and Hove Council's DA & VAWG Unit and coordinate the Brighton and Hove MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) which aims to reduce the risk from domestic abuse (DA) for those deemed at high risk of DA.
We are recruiting to a permanent position for the role of a MARAC Coordinator and would welcome applications from people who enjoy working in a hectic, fact paced environment and who are interested in being part of a Team supporting partners to respond and reduce the risk of Domestic Abuse and VAWG.
You will be responsible for ensuring the weekly conference runs effectively and working with statutory and voluntary partners across Brighton and Hove to reduce the risk for those at risk of high harm.
Ideally, you will have a good understanding of domestic abuse and be a highly effective communicator with excellent administration skills including the ability to use databases, windows and Teams.
An understanding of domestic abuse is a must and if you would like to work with partners across Brighton and Hove to ensure survivors are supported to safely this may be the role for you.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
