Support Criminal Justice by keeping the Police National Computer running effectively.
As a PNC Phoenix Operator you will facilitate the data quality and input of information from a range of stakeholders to the Police National Computer (PNC) to support investigative and front-line operations. Keeping the system up to date you will ensure there is smooth data flow to and from the PNC database.
What you’ll be doing
- Retrieve, validate and process details of persons required to be created or updated on PNC and Niche.
- Update and amended records when data on convictions and warrants is received.
- Investigate impending prosecutions to determine the appropriate disposal, updating the PNC accordingly.
The must haves
- A high standard of attention and accuracy.
- Experience of interrogating several different computer systems to retrieve, analyse and update information.
- Experience of managing large volumes of work with minimal supervision.

This role will require you to work regular weekends on a rota basis with enhanced rates. For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
