We care about the best outcomes for local people, through our public services.</p><p>We are proud of our world-famous thriving city with its rich culture, as well as affordable housing, good schools, beautiful green spaces – there’s really something for everyone!</p><p>The Role: </p><ul>\n<li>We are currently recruiting two experienced Social Workers to join us in our Adoption Service, for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, starting 1 September 2025</li>\n<li>As an Adoption Social Worker, your role will be responsible for overseeing and progressing adoption care plans, undertaking all statutory responsibilities in visits and supervising adoption placements and working closely with Adoption in Merseyside (AiM)</li>\n<li>You will hold professional responsibility for a full and diverse caseload as an Adoption Social Worker, working within set timescales for Adoption Panels whilst ensuring the highest quality assessments</li>\n<li>For the role of an Adoption Social Worker, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you can work proactively with the allocated children’s social workers and partner agencies in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our Liverpool children</li>\n<li>We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated practitioners, who consider themselves organised and resilient, who can effectively balance the demands of completing a number of different demands simultaneously.
