We’re at a pivotal stage in our development, seeking a Data Analyst Manager to lead the evolution of our performance reporting, and streamline analytical processes. As a subject matter expert, you’ll deliver greater value to operational teams, senior leaders, and external partners
About the role
As the Data Analyst Manager, you will:
- Lead a team of analysts working with complex, multi-source datasets to uncover trends and measure success against national frameworks.
- Lead the development and implementation of data solutions using SQL Server, Power BI, and other tools.
- Provide expert analysis and insights to support the Adult Social Care Performance and Improvement team..
- Drive the continued transition to Power BI, enhancing our reporting capabilities and infrastructure
- Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including regional and national working groups to ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded across the organisation.
- Drive innovation in reporting and data visualisation, introducing new tools and methodologies to enhance how we communicate insights.
- Play a key role in by providing the evidence base for strategic decisions and service improvements.
About you
Essential:
- Delivering high-impact analytics projects
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft FABRIC, SQL Server, and Power BI, with a keen eye for process improvement and automation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify emerging trends
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- A strong understanding of data governance and protection, especially when working with sensitive information.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
Desirable:
- Microsoft qualifications
- Experience in managing data teams
- Keen understanding of adult social care priorities and processes
