Make a vital contribution to the safety of our communities.
As a Solicitor for the East Midlands Police Legal Services you’ll be working with a dynamic team, working together at the forefront of public protection and contributing to the safety of the community.
The role is based at Alfreton but is an agile position with minimal office working.
You’ll provide legal advice and representation, handling a caseload and working with a team of lawyers representing the police in the East Midlands.
We offer full support and training, helping you to achieve your potential and develop your skills in an exciting and diverse area of work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of a dedicated team of advocates in a uniquely varied, specialist legal role
- Contribute to shaping a vital and ever-growing role in protecting the public
- Provide legal advice at various levels within our client police forces
The must haves:
- Professional legal qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
- Effective time management and able to handle own caseload
- Excellent communication skills
