Drive investigations within Serious and Organised Crime and Major Crime.
EMSOU have an exciting opportunity to recruit multiple Analysts to support in investigations from the developmental stage to the criminal justice process. As a Regional Intelligence Researcher, you will use your excellent research and problem solving skills to support in the regional organised group mapping processes. You will keep up to date with the ever evolving intelligence analytical techniques and maintain a professional understanding of the operational environment.
Please note: Vacancies are available in our Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU), Targeting Organised Exploitation (TOEX) and Regional Prisons Intelligence Unit (RPIU).
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure that prevention, intelligence and reassurance activity is prioritised.
- Proactively apply analytical techniques as defined within the NIM.
- Give detailed briefings to a range of senior stakeholders.
The must haves
- Experience problem-solving and researching large datasets.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience conducting briefings and presentations.
