MVDescription
Develop and support the team delivering support services to victims and witnesses.
As our Witness Care Supervisor, you provide support services to victims and witnesses, from initial report through to first court appearance.
You’ll manage and develop a team of staff, ensuring they that the guidance and support to ensure proactive approach to work, working to deadlines and providing high levels of service.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing direction and guidance to the team, including coaching and mentoring
- Ensuring a high level of service is providing to victims and witnesses, providing timely and relevant information/ updates
- Working in partnership with other supervisors within Criminal Justice team, responding to changing demands
The must haves
- Experience of managing, supporting and developing a dynamic team
- Knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system
- Experience of writing details reports and correspondence in response to queries, evidential reports.
