The role will support the people relationship issues of a portfolio or group of services providing expert HR advice and support. It will work in partnership with their service areas to develop and maintain positive employee relationships increasing engagement and creating a positive organisation culture.
In this role you will ensure expert consistent advice and decision making in employment practice including employment legislation. This will include the management and support of complex cases, large scale/complex organisational change, organisational development, workforce planning and resourcing, pay and reward, job evaluations, learning and development. You will bring extensive experience in this area to the role.
You’ll have a ‘can do’ attitude and take personal responsibility to deliver organisational priorities.

All About you
To be successful in this role, you must have knowledge of employment legislation and trends.
Detailed knowledge (typically gained through a recognised professional qualification e.g. CIPD) of professional HR practice and procedure.
Understanding and commitment to inclusive relational and restorative practices.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build and maintain rapport at all levels across the organisation to keep ahead of emerging HR specialist trends, changes, ideas and innovations.
You will also have a good level of IT skills - MS Office (excel, outlook, etc).
