An exciting opportunity has arisen to create a brand new post within Sefton Virtual School. We are looking for a dynamic SENCO to work alongside the Virtual School Headteacher by taking the lead to ensure that Cared for Children that have an EHC plan receive good quality planning and delivery of an education that meets their needs, is aspirational and influenced by their wishes, feelings and preferences.
This post is a fixed term 12 month contract from the start date. A 12 month secondment will also be considered. Further opportunities to extend the post beyond this date will be subject to funding announcements from the Department for Education.
