Dee Banks School currently has 2 teaching positions available for September 2025.

Dee Banks School is a special school located in Chester, which caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 years of age. Our pupils have severe, complex and profound learning difficulties with associated needs such as autism, communication difficulties and complex health needs. 

Dee Banks School is a Good school (Ofsted 2022) and we take pride in working together to support pupils holistically, enabling them to develop socially, physically, emotionally and academically and to successfully prepare them for adult life.

We are looking for talented and highly motivated teachers; determined to achieve the best possible outcomes for our pupils, who will reward them with enthusiasm, encouragement, humour, time and attention.

The successful candidates will be passionate, committed and effective class teacher who place the students at the centre of all they do. We are seeking an individual who can make learning exciting, using a relevant, practical approach to promote independence. You must have the ability to work well with others and lead a team of classroom staff. 

This exciting opportunity is open to any candidates that want to work in a specialist SEN setting, no prior experience of SEN is required, and all are welcome to apply.
