The Post
Brent Council is an exciting place to be right now. We’re recruiting an experienced digital transformation professional to lead the next year of our established digital transformation programme. Working across a number of departments to support the delivery of Brent’s Digital Strategy and programme of strategic change, you and your team will support the digital development and transformation of key functions within the Council, helping to ensure that digital supports the Council’s priorities; that services are easier and more accessible for residents and businesses and that everyone in Brent can benefit from the benefits of digital technology.
You’ll be providing high-level advice to multi-functional teams on programmes to deliver organisational change, while re-engineering business processes to work smarter through digitalisation to benefit both residents and the Council. You’ll lead digital service improvement, transformation and cultural change projects across the entire Council and its partners, advising and supporting senior management on the Council’s digital strategic transformation initiatives.
The Person
You are an experienced programme lead with experience of leading and managing major digital transformation programmes in local authorities or other complex organisations. You have strong programme management skills, the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and extensive knowledge of new digital technologies and of implementing these in complex organisations.
