We are dedicated to providing a supporting and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.</p>\n<p>The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Werburgh's Catholic Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and effective Teaching Assistant to join our team.</p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of young people; fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a supportive, faith-centered environment.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br>Supporting the class teacher in delivering high quality education.<br>Assisting individual pupils and small groups with targeted learning activities.<br>Encourage a strong sense of Catholic values, promoting respect, kindness, and service to others in all aspects of school life.<br>Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.<br>Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants, teachers and parents to support the holistic development of each child.<br>Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom displays.<br>Supervising children during playtime and lunchtime duties.<br>Supporting children with additional needs, where and when required.</p>\n<p>Key Attributes:<br>A qualified teaching assistant- to at least level 2.<br>A commitment to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school.<br>A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.<br>A nurturing approach, with the ability to inspire and support students in both their academic and spiritual journeys.<br>Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.<br>The children, staff and community of St Werburgh's Catholic Primary School and Nursery make up an energetic, warm and welcoming team.
